The first meeting of the Upper Arlington Booster Club was held on August 26, 1944. UA resident Fred L. Morrison served as chairman of the 40-member committee.
The purpose of the Booster Club was outlined in the September 19, 1944 issue of the Arlingtonian, the UAHS student newspaper; this is the very first issue ever published!
